Those who falter and those who fall….

Three times, the Stars took the lead; three times, the Bears came back. Texas got smart and didn’t give the Bears enough time to do it a fourth time. Travis Morin’s goal with 45.3 seconds left — 11 seconds after Boyd Kane got out of the box for an attempted-spearing double-minor* — gave the Stars a 4-3 win and a 2-0 series lead.

The Bears, the juggernaut, unbeatable, indefatigable Bears, must win at least two out of three this week in Cedar Park just to get the series back to Giant Center. Attempt 1, Game 3, is Monday.
