Milford’s Mark Arcobello, a former standout at Fairfield Prep and Yale, was named the MVP of the ECHL All-Star Game tonight in Bakersfield. Arcobello, who has an AHL contract with Oklahoma City and is assigned to Stockton, scored three goals.
Former Sound Tiger Pascal Morency scored a goal in the game and won the accuracy contest in the skills competition, going 3-for-8. Long-time-ago Bridgeport defenseman J.F. David was fourth in the hardest shot.
Kalamazoo defenseman Steve Tarasuk took the game’s only penalty.
