Game 60 tonight. Time hurries along sometimes, and sometimes it drags (Matt Donovan plays tonight up top for the first time in two months, for instance #FreeDono).
Seeing Donovan’s release from the cage while waiting for high schools this morning, I got to wondering about this:
All-time Bridgeport defenseman scoring
Name | GP | G | A | Pts |
---|---|---|---|---|
Matt Donovan | 180 | 32 | 87 | 119 |
Mark Wotton | 368 | 22 | 88 | 110 |
Aaron Ness | 263 | 21 | 86 | 107 |
Bruno Gervais | 134 | 24 | 47 | 71 |
Brandon Smith | 137 | 14 | 55 | 69 |
(Through 3/11/15. Bold: Team record. Italic: defenseman record.)
Creeping up. Ness is actually now fourth in games played as a Sound Tiger, though catching Steve Regier (290) can’t happen this year. He could catch Regier in assists; Ness is sixth with his 86, the other two defensemen are just ahead, and Regier is third with 89.
Lukas Sutter and Dyson Stevenson get in tonight, while Chris Langkow and Scooter Vaughan sit out. That Johan-Sundstrom-on-right-wing tweak gets its airing tonight. One to scratch, but all indications were that it’ll be Kevin Czuczman tonight.
