All hands on deck for the Sound Tigers this morning at Wonderland, including the rested Scott Mayfield. It appears clear that, if there’s a call, Mayfield’d be the guy. It’s just not clear if or when.
In the meantime, the NHL-style schedule continues with a game at Albany tomorrow, with a return included. The lines this morning were more or less how they started the third last night, which was how they started the game with Holmstrom and Beck swapped. Brent Thompson was not about to commit to that for tomorrow, saying he thought Sebastian Collberg was close to ready.
