No ice today for the Sound Tigers, but they made a move, sending Jesse Graham down to Missouri and calling up Kane Lafranchise. Graham had seemed to be putting things together in mid-December but had been in and out of the lineup the last little bit. Lafranchise (a lefty, joining Kevin Czuczman and Patrick Cullity) had 17 points, eight of them on the power play, for Missouri, leading the Mavericks’ defensemen.
Elsewhere, Milford’s/Fairfield Prep’s/Yale’s/Toronto’s Mark Arcobello is the AHL Player of the Week. He had seven points in three games for the Marlies.
