Talked to Alan Quine and Scott Mayfield. One will run tomorrow. One may run Sunday, or if not, it may run elsewhere/-when.

Bridgeport announced its camp schedule — pretty much daily at 10 a.m. — with the new twist this year that sessions at Wonderland will explicitly be open to the public. Rumors of tryouts, but no names yet. They have a meeting Sunday (not open to the public, darn it) and will get on the ice Monday. Meanwhile, Hartford gets going Saturday and announced a roster that includes West Haven’s Mike Pereira.

The AHL Hall of Fame Class of 2017 includes Bryan Helmer (Matt Carkner’s brother-in-law), Doug Yingst, Rob Murray and Billy Dea.

And speaking of the River Rats (um), Albany will wear River Rats sweaters a couple of times this year, though unfortunately not against Bridgeport.
