Johnston’s one game official

Ross Johnston became the first AHL player suspended for accumulating 10 (counting) fighting majors. The league made official that he’ll sit Friday, as expected.

Edit: What comes next: After we’ve spent so much time counting up to 10… Rule 23.7 says that for fighting majors Nos. 11, 12 and 13, each one comes with a one-game suspension. At 14, and for every fight after that, the player is suspended for two games.

And, again, any fighting major where the opposing player is ruled the instigator does not count toward your total.
