Maintaining, Week (what is it): Tuesday notes

Missing today at Harbor Yard, as he was for most of the last few minutes Sunday, was Devon Toews. Maintenance, Brent Thompson said. That left seven defensmen, and they were skating pretty hard, so they got their work in.

Rest of the regular hands were on deck. Like the other day, Chris Bourque-Jones-Sislo remained together, as did Dal Colle, Koivula and Ho-Sang. (Koivula had some fun stuff on this weekend. Paper tomorrow.) The other eight forwards skated on lines of four apiece; see which way it falls tomorrow in Springfield.

Alan pointed out that Steve Bernier leads the AHL with seven power-play goals at this writing.

Elsewhere, Bridgeport camper Dylan Willick’s overtime goal sent Worcester home from Brampton with a win this morning. Yanick Turcotte, back from injured reserve, played his first game since Oct. 20.

Karl Alzner is now a Laval Rocket.

And RIP, Stephen Hillenburg.
