So Michael Dal Colle slid right into Andrew Ladd’s spot…
Sorry.
Lines at today’s Sound Tigers practice were, basically, as they ended Sunday. When I started poking around a reason for someone being on the four-man yellow line, Brent Thompson told me not to read into them; he just kept them as they were Sunday, then added one of Sunday’s four scratched forwards onto one of them. Thursday will be more meaningful. So, more Thursday.
It was a special practice (not so special that Thompson couldn’t gather the team at center ice at one point and, seriously, quietly urge them to wake up) because 12-year-old Kaden Symington joined them for practice. Much like Sam and Caleb last year, they signed Kaden to a contract and had him out there at practice.
Elsewhere, Micheal Haley is on waivers. (So’s Michael Leighton, who got a contract from Vancouver.)
And Evan Buitenhuis is ECHL goalie of the week, following Josh Ho-Sang’ AHL player of the week award yesterday.
