The Islanders have a bug going through them, say the reporters down on the Island, and before tonight’s game against Ottawa, the Big Club called for Josh Ho-Sang and Michael Dal Colle. They’re up on emergency recall. If they’re back in Bridgeport anytime soon, hopefully all they bring back are happy memories and perhaps a bagel or two.
Only one move for the Sound Tigers yesterday before the AHL trade deadline: coming home from Allentown after the state of Pennsylvania prevented them from leaving Sunday night. (Travel ban for buses on I-78 because of the snow.) Few teams did anything transactionally; the most notable move was a Belleville-Providence deal: The Bruins picked up veteran defenseman Stuart Percy for Austin Fyten.
