Made it: Hartford pregame

The hit looked scary, particularly considering Thomas Hickey’s history, but Hickey is in the lineup today in Hartford. Steve Bernier, meanwhile, is not; he left last night’s game early. Day-to-day (lower) was the initial report on him.

Travis St. Denis is in for Bernier, playing, as Alan noted, his 200th game. He’ll be the 17th to play that many for Bridgeport. That’s the only in/out change, though St. Denis will start in the middle where Mason Jobst started last night, with Jobst playing between Simon Holmstrom and Tanner Fritz. The defense pairs are a little jumbled. And Christopher Gibson gets the start after Jared Coreau went last night.

There are a lot of interesting names on Hartford’s lines, though one really interesting scratch, teenager Vitali Kravtsov.

Meanwhile, the last guy to wear 3, Chris Casto, has a new gig: He’s joined Mike Sislo with Wolfsburg in Germany.

Not sure if we’ll do postgame posts. Bear with me. Transition.
