Quenneville to the Devils (update: Aho to Bridgeport)

The Islanders have traded David Quenneville and a 2021 second-round pick to New Jersey for veteran defenseman Andy Greene. Quenneville goes to Binghamton, and if that ding from blocking a shot the other night isn’t bad, he could return in two weeks: The B-Devils visit Bridgeport on March 1. His older brother, John, is a former Devil, traded to the Blackhawks over the summer for Greenwich’s John Hayden. We’ll see if they can get Peter there someday and complete the set.

The Islanders haven’t announced the Corresponding Transaction to clear room on their 23-man roster. There was talk last night of putting Sebastian Aho in the lineup, but one wonders if that has changed. Edit, 5:25: It has. The Islanders have sent Aho back to Bridgeport.
