Bourque for Broadhurst, Lacroix

The Sound Tigers made one deal at the AHL deadline, sending Ryan Bourque to Charlotte for left wingers Terry Broadhurst and Cedric Lacroix.

Broadhurst, 31, is an AHL veteran, like Bourque. He has played 288 AHL games, including 29 this year for the Checkers after earning an AHL contract in February off a PTO he signed in November. He’s got seven assists for Charlotte. All his AHL time before this year was in the Western Conference; he also played two years in Europe.

Lacroix, 25, was on an AHL deal all season with the Checkers. He scored two goals in his AHL debut last April for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton but had no points in 11 games this year in several stints with Charlotte. In the Coast this year, he had 12 goals and 14 assists in 34 games for Greenville. He’s a U-Maine product in his second pro season.

Bourque moves into playoff position after 184 games as a Sound Tiger.
