RestWatch/Alumni Watch: Late Wednesday notes

Take or leave John Tavares’ Players Tribune piece on leaving the Islanders as you wish, but if you do nothing else, read the Kimber story.

RestWatch ™, to supplement the earlier notes on the schedule: There are a couple of doozies on both sides, but by and large the Sound Tigers do OK with their three-in-threes and back-to-backs. Bridgeport has the better of either travel or rest in three, maybe four of their eight three-in-threes. There are two that are pretty even and two where the last-game opponent has the better, including one to end December where Hartford has the night off the night before.

In the 18 back-to-backs, six are pretty close to even, Bridgeport has a strong edge in six, and the other team has an edge in six.

All in all a pretty reasonable schedule for the Sound Tigers.

Edit: And RIP, Anthony DiLungo.
