Two-D: Thursday notes

Darryl Hunt came through and got us down to two, Washington/Hershey and the Islanders/Sound Tigers, who hadn’t announced a transaction since the pause. Well you’re up, Bears. The Sound Tigers announced Adam Brubacher’s signing, which Brubacher spilled last week. And the Islanders announced the signing of Samuel Bolduc, the 57th pick in last year’s draft. Arthur Staple notes the birthday needle-threading that makes him eligible to play here next year, assuming there is a next year whenever that may be.

Meanwhile, Kyle Burroughs is among the Connecticut athletes in this PSA for 4-ct.org, the Connecticut COVID-19 Charity Connection.

Troy Grosenick is the AHL’s Yanick Dupre Award winner; you may remember Christopher Gibson was Bridgeport’s nominee.

LIU shook things up and announced this afternoon it’ll add a Division I men’s hockey team. It already has a women’s team.

VOTE ALREADY. Thanks.

And RIP, Vito DeVito, Scott Cady, Steve Dalkowski, Irrfan Khan and Robert May.
